What motivates you?

I'm self driven therefore I set high standards and goals for myself. I also love to create opportunities for myself. Everyday I wake up knowing there is always a stepping stone to accomplish in order to achieve my dreams in the long run.

What does success mean to you?

I define success as reaching a goal or dream. Also, gaining self growth through the process of achieving the success.

What's the most embarrassing moment you've had in a professional setting?

Presenting while unprepared. It was humiliating and taught me a valuable lesson. Now it's installed in my head that you can never be too prepared. That's the first and last time it will ever happen.

Can you share a quote you often refer to?

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing." -Muhammad Ali

Name one thing you do constantly that has contributed to your success.

Positive affirmations. I believe in mind over matter, it's all about perspective. Each day before starting my morning regimes I look into my bathroom mirror and recite the affirmations. If you have a favorable mindset to start the day then you 100% can accomplish more.

What's next?

In three years I will be in law school - another step closer to achieving my dreams of helping others. Civil rights law and advocating for women are the paths I want to explore.
