Meet this week's budding pioneer IT Girl of The Week, and also co-founder of OurErrands. +=
Justice started OurErrands with her brother, to service those in need of a personal assistant. Her family-owned business is striving to provide a more cost effective price tag on a personal assistant. OurErrands launched last October and is currently still in beta, however, this growing app is vying for 1,000,000 users by 2025, and currently serves as a marketplace for on-demand personal assistant services. What does success mean to you?
Happiness=Success. I have always told people that I am not the one to be driving a Mercedes or wear name brand just to keep up. I am a Honda-driving, Converse & H&M-wearing, type of girl. I know that money and wealth is not the totality of success; it's where your mind, heart and spirit are that brings the feeling of success.
What motivates you?
God. When you know that something in the universe has destined you for something bigger than yourself, everyday is like an episode to see how the story plays out. I have my future children depending on me to set the standard for our generation/future generations. So every decision I make effects them (even at 24 years old).
What's your favorite podcast or blog?
Sadly, I don't have one. But every morning on my way to work I like to listen to the Steve Harvey Morning show to stay hip on the latest politics (social and political).
Can you share a quote you often refer to?
"What's meant to happen will always find a way"- Even when you think a door is closing, just remember that door was just the entry point to one of MANY doors. What's for you, IS FOR YOU!
Name one thing you do constantly that has contributed to your success.
Have FAITH! I hope I don't sound too "preachy" but when you keep your mind on things that are positive and you rest in knowing that someone continuously has your back; you know there's no way you can fail. Fall, maybe. Fail, never!
What's next? Where do you see yourself two or three years from now?
I see myself on magazines for being contracted out with numerous small businesses and corporations improving their customer experiences, developing new functions/technologies, and getting them to a place in their business where they are scalable in every department. I am a natural entrepreneur and I am fluid in functionality, logistics, and scalability; I will continue to use those skills to increase my network.
